Behaviour is communication. We look for what a child may be struggling to express — developmental needs, sensory issues, anxiety, sleep, communication or school stress — and support parents with respectful, practical strategies.

Overview

Meltdowns, defiance, aggression, withdrawal, or difficult transitions often carry a message. Our approach is to understand before advising.

We work with parents on strategies that fit their family and their child, and coordinate with schools and allied professionals when helpful.

What parents notice

  • Frequent meltdowns or difficulty with transitions
  • Aggression, self-injury or defiance
  • Withdrawal, avoidance or shutdowns
  • Behaviour that changes at home or at school

How our clinic helps

  • Family-centred conversation about triggers, patterns and needs
  • Consideration of developmental, sensory, emotional and school factors
  • Practical, individualised parenting strategies
